Continuation of Compensation for Deposits in the USSR Savings Bank

Compensation will be provided to citizens born on or before December 31, 1942.
In 2025, the program for compensating monetary deposits made in the Armenian Republican Bank of the USSR Savings Bank before June 10, 1993, will continue. According to the government's decision, compensation will be granted to citizens born on or before December 31, 1942, including cases where the deposit was made by a deceased spouse during their marital life.
For registration, depositors can personally apply (or through a legal representative or an authorized proxy) to the territorial center of the Unified Social Service corresponding to their registered place of residence. They must present the following documents:
A personal identification document or an identification card,
The depositor’s public services number (PSN) or social security card, or a certificate stating the absence of a PSN,
The depositor’s savings book (if available),
A certificate from VTB Armenia Bank confirming the depositor’s account details as of June 10, 1993,
Other necessary documents if required.
Additionally, the right to deposit compensation is also granted to:
✅ Participants of military operations for the defense of Armenia, including cases where the deposit was made by a deceased spouse during their marital life.
✅ Individuals who, as of August 1, 2014, were registered in the State Population Registry as residents of border communities (as listed in Appendix 1 of Government Decision No. 1444-N, dated December 18, 2014), as well as those drafted from these communities and serving in compulsory military service on that date. This also applies if the deposit was made by a deceased spouse during their marital life.
✅ Heirs of deposits made in the name of servicemen, volunteers, or missing persons who died (passed away) while participating in military operations, on combat duty, or during special assignments.
